National Lifesaving Academy Awards

for 12 - 16 year olds

The historic BRONZE MEDALLION has been brought into the 21st Century with three distinct pathways:

• Pool

• Open water*

• Beach*

All awards are issued by the RLSS UK via your TAHDAH account and contribute towards the training hours for a Vocational Lifeguard Qualified such as the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

When you are 16 years old you can be assessed as a Pool Lifeguard, Open Water Lifeguard or Beach lifeguard providing you have the required guided learning hours for each qualification. The Bronze Medallion (18 hours) is worth 7 CPD points.
